Probably Maria was waiting for a more quantitative answer... How many
drops to how much gum solution?

I'm interested too - I managed to find powdered gum arabic in Istanbul
(2x the price of gum lumps but considerably cheaper than ready made -
for watercolorists - gum solutions in the market)
