I have 16oz of Van Dyke sensitizer stored in a brown glass container since
January. When I coated paper yesterday and made some exposures they look
very dark and "muddy" (unsharp, unclear). Has this solution gone bad? I
read an article by Wynn White where says he uses solutions that are a year
old. Any experience with solutions stored for a length of time?
Same paper, light source etc. Maybe I should start with fresh sensitizer.
