RE: NY Shows and galleries

There is a booklet called simply PHOTOGRAPH (Sept/Oct 2005)- or the next
month if your friend is coming later - that lists more than he will have
time for, a listing that needs to be used selectively. It sells for $5.00. A
good place to pick it up is at the ICP (International Center of Photography
which is very good place to begin a photo tour). The Metropolitan Museum of
Art currently has an exhibition entitled "The perfect medium; Photography of
the occult." While it is not to everyone's taste, on the second floor
corridor (the print room) are true jewels. I can never go there without
spending an hour and coming back having lived among riches. Joachim
