Scott,

Use gelatin and a hardner and apply to your paper. Check on alternativephotography.com for information about sizing. I would reccomend applying the gelatin with a coating road or brush. Vat or tray sizing is messy and wasteful, IMO.

You can also check the list archives for information on sizing.

Back in September someone mentioned using gelatin as a sizing for
cyanotypes, I would be interested to know how this works. I love cyanos but
would like to see the image up more on the surface of the paper. If anyone
has used this or any other pre coat for cyanos I would be interested.
