Bob,
there are other brands of imagetters in addition to Agfa—but, I don't imagine
buying a new imagesetter is high on many print house lists, since everything
is going "direct to plate". I wouldn't count on imagesetters being around
forever. I think they are pretty costly to maintain. Maybe soon you'll be
able to buy your own on eBay!
