Re: DIY Fume Hood

Dear list. I found this excellent paper/site on the evolution of the fume
hood. A MUST READ if you're considering creating a ventilation system. Many
references for further reading too. It seems there's more to designing a
good fume hood than one would think. Particularly interesting were the many
subtleties in design shapes. My conclusion is that if you think an old range
hood going to protect you think again.
