The ufraw program I mentioned runs on Windows as well as Linux and
Mac. It is a stand alone program although it can be used with gimp.
So, if you find no other solution, I still recommend to use ufraw to
convert TIFF, DNG or other generic lossless formats to load to
Photoshop.
