Try your POP process and expose it as much as you would for development and
develop it, and then print out something prepared for a 'development' process
and see what happens.

As to 'colour' my own taste is for the potassium oxalate result. I seem to
remember that Mike Ware has some useful advice where controlling the humidity
affects the colour.
