My Dear Gerry, The mispelling of ''apologies'' was, of course, intentional, as I am speaking fom the hyper real world, at present where PVA and GUM are the same altho they are different except when they are intensified. You should get yourself a tyranosaurus rex which will explain this, clearly.

I'll have to side with the Photographist on this one ever since my father starting calling himself a "Truckologist" in the 1970s. English is a living language that is in constant change, is it not? Just look at the forward addendum of any dictionary these days. You'd be surprised at the words defined there. And, oh yeah, "apologies" is spelled wrong. Well I'm off. I have to go "tweak" some developer formulas.

    My Dear Sir

I wish to dispute your description of yourself as a Photographist.

I do not believe that there is such a word in my copy of Dr Johnsons original dictionary, so may I suggest you use another more appropriate term, such as 'Photos Graphologist' or something like it.

I leave it to your common decency as an Englishman to make the necessary intellectual adjustment.

    Richard
