All you might ever want to know about Seigel Toning of cyaniotypes may be
found in:
"Post Factory" #7, Page 36 and "Post Factory" #5, p 41.
This is a very beautiful process which gives you everything from lilacs to
split tones of purples and browns. Of course you have to work with it and
learn the process. Its not just dunk and rinse.

Someone suggested that the two toning processes I mentioned were not
permanent. I have not found this to be so. I have some 15 year old
Seigal-Toned cyanotypes and lead acetate toned
cyanotypes which look just as good as when they were made.
