John,

This is very good advice. I tried the white rouge on my unstitched
wheel and I wasn't happy with it though. I start out with Dialux red on
a stitched wheel and then progress to Blue on an unstitched wheel then I
move to the velvet hand board and use black iron oxide (lamp black?).
