Each to his/her own.
Maybe you shoudn't deal with dichromates at all; the glass container of
the solution may break and/or you can drop the plastic container of dry
dichromate and spill it all over...

P.S. I also wouldn't airbrush dichromate soln. in any circumtance.

It remains that I would not use a foam roller for coating dichromated
emulsions anymore than I would an airbrush.
