I was talking about using the scanner as a reflection densitometer=E2=80=94t=

reflection steptablet from stouffer is 21 steps at log .10 per step for a ma=
x=20
reflection density of 2.0.

You can do the same thing I described with a transmission step tablet and us=
e=20
your scanner as a transmission densitometer=E2=80=94and yes, the Stouffer 21=
 step is=20
log .15 per step. =20

(by the way, I prefer the 31 step transmission =E2=80=94 and especially the=20=
pretty=20
one I designed available at www.PrecisionDigitalNegatives.com=C2=A0=E2=80=
=94 Stouffer makes=20
them for me.)
