Pictorico in a Vacuum Frame

Has anybody had problems with Pictorico in their vacuum frame causing
patchiness? I've tried anti-static measures and baby powder, but there
seems to be dark spots occurring between the plate and the Pictorico I'm
not able to control - particularly around the edges of the plate.
Allowing drawdown time simply increases size the patches.

Any advice?
