I use the smooth side. Never tried the raw side. All I can say about the raw
side is that tannic acid (which I use for toning cyanotypes) stains it
severely - and that makes me think that side is not so good compared to the
smooth side - I mean for Pt/Pd, Cyano ect. (again, never tried the raw
side).

anyone uses Bergger COT-320 paper and can tell me which one is he right
side?

If I look at them there is a smooth and a raw side.

Which one is the right side for coating?

Or doesn´t it matter?
