The manipulated car squish is not "older". It is just a picture of another
technique I use. It is the Jack Brubaker technique of using a Scotch Brite
pad and scraping emulsion away in a fresco effect. I sainted him in my alt
process book because his suggestion has been wonderful. I also used his
method on Chance I've Been Hoping For under comic vanitas, where you see the
pregnant woman on a blue background? The gum in the background has been all
scraped away down to cyanotype with the Scotch Brite pad. Those of you out
of the States--a Scotch Brite pad is like a plastic scouring square that is
safe for teflon coated pans.

That's much better indeed. Beatiful images Chris. I was surprised to
myself when it happened that I liked more the older, pre-PDN versions of
some images despite new ones being technically superior (sponge
manipulated car squish for instance). I'm glad to see your works, a real
treat.
Regards,
Loris.

Thanks to all with website advice; pictures have been resized to be
bigger
now in the galleries, much to (I'm sure) my web designer's chagrin :)
He
was trying to be kind with people who have more antiquated computer
equipment, bless his heart.
