Hi,
I was wondering if anyone can advise whether tea tree oil dissolved in
alcohol would be a suitable preservative for gum?
I was intending to try it as a substitute for Thymol (which I cannot
source easily).

Tea tree oil has anti-bacterial and disinfectant properties and better
still is cheap and readily available. Any comments?

Thanks,
Paul Arcus
