John,

Transfer the print if it turns out well to another paper.

Ken Barry sent me this link for oil prints. It says some things about
transfers too.

Cheers,

Witho

Hi Max and Witho, Yes, definately wall paper ! ! So, obviously made to
withstand a lot of wet handling. There are about three grades of thickness
I've come accross from about 80gsm to 110gsm. It's mainly wood pulp but
still paper and quite absorbent. After some months exposed to the air the
edges of the unused rolls get an old antique look. The colour is off white
to cream, but I suppose it would take a white pigment if desired. I have
often wondered if encapsulating this crap paper with acrylic, after
receiving a print, would give it a more lasting archival quality ? ! !
Anyway its OK for practicing but slightly frustrating when the prints turn
out well. It also acts as low absorbent blotting paper.
I'm doing an Oil print on it, currently, following a few
suggestions from Henk.
             Cheers. John.
