Time to get the ball rolling...

Greetings, all...
Well, I'll give it a shot - I've been working with a slight update of gum bi
chromate that I call the video bichromate process - I shoot with my camcorder,
then view it at home on TV. When I get to a likely image, I pause the tape and
shoot the monitor with my 5x7. I then print the neg in the tradional gumly wa
y. The waver from the paused videotape induces a little softness in the negati
ve which works nicely in gum, and the raster lines from the TV set hold pigment
very well in the final print. The video bichromates end up looking much diffe
rent from traditional gums. Anyone out there doing calotypes?
