I did wet-plates (tintypes, ambrotypes, & my own variant, the Lucitype) for a
number of years - great fun, especially the collodion fumes. "Keepers of
Light" is a good text to start with; also Estabrooke's "The Ferrotype & How to
Make It" & Towler's "Silver Sunbeam." Let us know how it goes...
