Your best bet as far as lists of books on anything ever written on the
subject of reproduction processes, is probably my _Encyclopedia of
Printing, Photographic, and Photomechanical Processes_. It has over
1500 articles and 6000 references in half a dozen languages. The
Encylopedia is out of print, but having access to Internet, you should
be able to find a library near you with a copy you can consult.

Make sure you have up to date catalogs of Light Impressions,
Photo-Eye, A Photographer's Place, Silverprint (if you are in the UK),
La chambre claire (if you are in Europe) Omnicon (if you are in the
Spanish speaking part of the world), Lindemanns (if you are in the
German part of the world), the Printed Image Bookshop (if you are in
Australia), so you can see what is available in a bookstore near you.

In the English language, a very good guide that should be in your
library, is William Crawford's _The Keepers of Light_, which I believe
is still in print. There is one annoying mistake in the formulas,
which they keep reprinting, but overall, it is an excellent book that
anyone interested in alternative processes should have in his or her
library.

On the Pt process per se, I have written a more detailed monograph
which has been out of print, in English, for some time. Lindemanns,
mentioned above, has the most up to date version. At any rate,
thousands of libraries have a copy of it, so it should be easy to
find. For some time I have been working on a completely revised
edition of the English version, which should be out this summer,
complete with a tipped-in print, produced from a negative that was
produced digitally on an Iris printer. This will be a first in history
I believe.

Regards, etc.
