Substitute for KODAK viz. Dektol

D-72 is a very, very close substitute for Dektol. Formula follows:
Metol (Elon) 3.1 gm
Sodium Sulfite 45 gm.
Hydroquinone 12 gm.
Sodium Carbonate 80 gm.
Potassium Bromide 2 gm.
Water to make 1000 cc
Disolve a litte of the sodium sulfite in the water first then the Metol.
