Following are 3 formulas you can try:

a) SEPIA TYPE
Rochelle's Salt.........90 g
Potasium Bichromate....1.5 g
Water up to............950 cc

---
b) BLUE-BLACK TONES
  Borax...................24 g
  Rochelle's Salt.........90 g
  Potasium Bichromate....1.5 g
  Watwr up to............950 cc

c) NEUTRAL BLACK TONES Borax...................90 g Rochelle's Salt........1.2 g Watwr up to............950 cc

Developing time : 5 min.

These formulas were obtained from a very old Formulary, and you should check them carefully. Nevertheless, some of them has a low concentration of solids, and should not offer precipitation nor cristalization troubles on try or copies. Of course for better results it would help using distilled water. Hope it helps!
