I think you mean Direct Positive films, meaning films that retain the
original's tonal relationships. I don't have the spec sheets nearby but I
believe that Kodak does indeed make a Direct Positive film for duplicating
negatives.
Depending on your need for technical perfection you could also make duplicate
negatives by copying standard B&W negatives onto reversal color films such as
Ektachrome. Or, again in the "creative" mode, you could duplicate onto Polaroid
Polapan or Polagraph 35mm B&W positive working films.
