I just received a note from the Chicago Albumen Works about their new
Printing Out Papers.

The previous type was manufactured by the now defunct Guilleminot in France
and several users on this list had reported various problems. Let's hope
this new material shows significant improvements.

The paper is named CENTENNIAL(tm) and is available as both a double-weight
fiber base paper *AND* (this is not a joke!) a light weight RC version! I
had to re-read that part a few times to believe it myself, until I got to
the explanation: The RC version is only available in 8x10 and is for those
who like to use P.O.P. for proofing, for school projects and less costly
test strip for platinum printing. Indeed you don't need archival quality
for such purposes.

The double weight is available in sizes up to 20x24 inches. They have (or
will, have since none of this will be available before Sept. 1st) a 15
sheet Double Weight Tester Pak 8x10 in., for US$30, including toner and
hypo. A 50 sheet box of 8x10 in. goes for $51.

Usual disclaimer: I have not seen a print made with this new paper and I
have no commercial connection with the supplier. I'm just passing the info
to those who might be interested.
