pop fixer

ive been having major problems with fixing a pop paper i bought. i used
both the fixer formula reccomended and a fixer formula reccomended in The
Keepers of Light, and both just bleach the hell out of the image, leaving
nothing in a matter of a few seconds. anyone know the problem? could it be
my water? anyone know of a different fixer recipe that wont bleack out my
paper?
