Am I trying to dust my dead relative onto the unhardened colloid (honey
and albumen) or the hardened bits? I would be a bit surprised if the
hardened parts stayed sticky. If so, is the plan to dust everywhere and
then wash away the unhardened parts?
If only the unhardened bits take on pigment from dusting, you would get
a negative, *and* have to preserve the whole emulsion under something
(collodion?) - which would make it difficult to wash out the dichromate.
Is this the drill? The other approach would be to work some transfer
process (e.g., ink and print), which was not the subject of Judy's
posting.
