I think the page as Adam described it more fully in his recent post sounds
great. A searchable database on the Net with links to other sites, etc. is
important. The alt-photo-process does what faq's are meant to do: answer
questions briefly and urge the reader to more research and practice. And,
along that latter road, a Web page would be helpful.

For Judy and others, the term "quickstart" is used often in the computer
software industry. Note the Peachpit Press QuickstartR manuals which are
anything but "a contradiction in terms" or "counterproductive." They provide
solid beginnings for someone new to a process and are invaluable in getting
people going who would be otherwise overwhelmed by the huge amounts of
technical data and info on software programs/alternative photo processes,
whatever.
