Robert Shlaer made 2 daguerreotypes of the National Museum of American
Art/National Portrait Gallery Bldg. - the old Patent Office - for the
Photo Fair yesterday. Unfortunately, I was chained to my table doing
show-and-tell all day, so I was unable to witness (or pose) in either of
the shots. According to a well-placed source, though, the first was a
bit over-exposed - blue shirt-fronts & all -and the second image was
beautiful. A good time was had by all.
