1. Send messages to the list from that address from which you
subscribed (I mentioned this in another mesg). If you don't, the
listproc will ignore your message, and you won't know.
2. To unsubscribe, send the message "unsub alt-photo-process" in
the body of a message (with no other stuff) to
listproc@vast.unsw.edu.au. If you have hassles (like you email address
has changed), email me direct, and I will take care of it, but be aware
this may take a little while.
3. If email to you bounces for more than a couple of days, for
reasons which look serious (ie. not simply mailbox full), I will remove
you from the list (I hate coming in and finding 100s of bounced error
messages). If you haven't seen any mail from the list for a while, check
with the listproc as to whether you are subscribed (use the "recipients
alt-photo-process" command to see who is subscribed to the list).
4. If you are going away for a while and want to stop messages
from the list without unsubscribing, send the command "set
alt-photo-process mail postpone" to the listproc. When you return, send
the message "set alt-photo-process mail ack".
As always, if you have problems with the list, address them
directly to me, and I'll wave my magic wand and fix them :-) Just be
aware it may take a week or two.
