I've worked with Platine for awhile now and have had similar problems. Citric
Acid didn't do the job, nor did EDTA. Then I tried 3 baths of Kodak Hypo
Clear at 5 minutes apiece and it worked well, but occasionaly still wouldn't
clear the print so I modified that procedure at Martin Axon's suggestion by
adding a warm water rinse(95o)of several minutes between the developer and
clearing baths and it helps considerably. My Hypo Clear is at 75o, by the
way. Replacing the clearing agents often helps, as does working at
above-room-temperature. Good luck.
