The manual for the Metrolux II timer indicates that some people use it as a
light integrator with the sun or other UV source. The central purpose of
the unit is to provide constant light-output exposures for enlargers with
coldlight light sources (which is why I bought one), but there's no reason
why it couldn't work just as well for UV light sources (which is a bonus).

Before I bought my metrolux, I posted a message asking if anyone was
actually using the Metrolux II for platinum or other iron-based printing
and two people sent me mail saying they were happy with the results.
