Re: Glycerol as humectant for POP Pd prints at low RH



Some carbon printers recently discussed this very issue on the carbon forum. It does appear that glycerine speeds up the dark reaction, but not so much as to interfere with consistent results if standard working procedures are followed.

In the context of DCG (gelatin) adding glycerol is said to speed up
dichromate reduction. Hence it will accelerate dark reaction.
