RE: Happy....
VERY GOOD!
I remembered Paltrow's C-3 but I hadn't recalled the one in Potter!
CHEERS!

I guess this would be considered cheating - I had to look it up, but:
The camera used by Colin Creevey in the film Harry Potter and the Chamber of
Secrets is a C3 Matchmatic, identifiable by its unique two-tone finish.
The camera used by Gwyneth Paltrow in the film Sky Captain and the World of
Tomorrow appears to be a C3.
I recently acquired an Argus C-3 that has been reconditioned. It's in the
box and like new. I haven't shot with it, yet, but plan to.

DEAR SUSAN,
I started with a Brownie I got for selling Xmas cards! Then my
father gave me his Argus C-3 which I still have in my glass camera case. I
shoot with it about once a year!
It is great to watch old movies and see the C-3 show up! It stars
verily in THE PHILADELPHIA STORY".
******Let's play a game: Who knows what other feature films use an Argus
C-3 as a prop?
CHEERS!

Hi Susan,
My dad used an old argus C3 (new at the time) - the Brick took lots of
vacation and family shots.
he and mom gave me my first camera for Christmas when I was about 10 - a
Brownie Hawkeye.....instead of photographing the family, I went outside and
photographed the trees that were covered from an ice storm the night before.

Yeah, Happy Father's Day, all you Dads.
My dad gave me my first camera when I was a teenager... an old Russian
35mm he'd picked up in a pawn shop I think.. No meters, no nothing.
It (and he), taught me to judge exposure, and hooked me on
photography. Thanks, Dad :o)
