But I'm glad I did, because reading this issue has inspired and cheered me. I'm only a little more than halfway through or so, but I just wanted to take a moment and say how much I've enjoyed reading Diana Bloomfield's article; the writing is great and the pictures are outstanding. Great job! I also want to say that the hybrid spirit of this issue feels similar to the spirit of a fairly new forum called hybrid photo, an offshoot of APUG. Many people assume that it's just for discussions about digital negatives (it does a very good job of that; I've learned so much there from people like Michael Koch-Schulte) or other digital questions, but it's also a place where people are coming together to explore new forms of photographic image-making. For example, Denise Ross, who is featured in an interview in the MAGNAchrom issue under discussion, has been doing some innovative work with tricolor gum over handcoated gelatin silver. http://www.hybridphoto.com/forums/ Katharine
