Hi Jacek,
I was also getting streaks in my gum coating, but discovered that when I coated unsized paper the gum went on smooth. So, I think I need to work on my sizing application. I'm not sure if this is the answer for you, but thought I'd throw it out there. There was a tip on this list to size the paper while damp, which I will try next...as soon as I get back to printing!
