Paper Negatives and Alt Process

Dear List,

It has been a very long time since I last posted to the list, but the recent
discussions concerning the use of paper negatives have prompted me to say Hi
again. I am a carbon printer and have been using paper negatives in my own
work for quite some time now. Examples of this work can been seen on my
website http://www.andreazalme.com/

Although not labeled as such, most of the images in the Gallery section and
all of the test examples I have posted in the Articles section have been
produced with paper negatives. These have been made with the Epson 3000,
5000, and 5500 printers, using a variety of papers and pigments that I have
been working with.

Based on my own experience, I have found paper negatives to be a very
economical alternative to the more expensive substrates that are available
on the market. This is especially true when one is climbing the rather steep
learning curves that are part and parcel of some of the alt processes.

Cheers,

Andrea
