Sure... but we do get sidetracked and/or hung up on topics like which is more archival gum or platinum... And your reservations here remind me to point out that, having moved with "artists" (as a painter myself) for the first 20 or so years of my "professional" life, I never heard one of them, in small support groups, large seminars, panel discussions, lectures, symposia, personal appearances, whatever whatever whatever, so much as tiptoe around the topic of "archivality."

It wasn't a topic and it wasn't an anxiety.
