RE: best film for 3800 PT/PD negs

DEAR ALL,

            Checking the Pictorico web site  http://www.pictorico.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWCATS&Category=51

 I see two different products called Pictorico OHP 17” X 66’ with a significant difference in price.  What are the differences and which do you use?

 

First: TPK-1766/2

Premium OHP Transparency Film 17" x 66' - 1 roll

Your Price $202.00

 

Second: TPU-1766/2 (20166)

Premium OHP Transparency Film 17" x 66' (TPU100)- 1 roll

Your Price $115.50

 

            Just in case we weren’t having enough fun with the Ultra vs. the non Ultra!  ;-))

I am using the regular NON-Ultra for Pt/Pd, cyanotype, salt prints,

albumen, and gum with no problems. I get newton rings when using the

Ultra Premium and had to spray the back of the negatives with a non-UV

blocking Krylon matte finish to get rid of the interference patterns

against the glass of the NuArc, no problems at all with Newton's rings

and the NON-Ultra.
