Whatever the distinction between curmudgeon-ry and dynamism -- the cited
passage from Benson saves us the 12 or so minutes it might take to 
flip through his book (unless a prize for dumkopf-ery is in the offing).

But if the fellow (who seems to know less about "photography" than John 
Schaefer, writing in the name of Ansel Adams, knew about "alt") claims 
that the Pope is Catholic, ask to see the baptismal certificate.
