Re: can inkjet and inkjet paper be used for alternative processes?

This is something I've been thinking about since Mark gave a workshop @ the Institute recently. I was thinking of
trying an older Epson 3000 printer to see if it might work. The cartridges are not pressurized and is there anything
in the chemistry that'd destroy the heads as Mark thinks? I can envision some accumulation that may require wiping
at the end of each day. In fact I just wrote a couple of my colleagues about giving it try. Is it that a number of
people think of this at once? Peculiar I think.

I would guess that most emulsions would destroy the print heads.

Yes that is what I think - use refillable ink cartridges and put sensitizer into the cartridge. Using inkjet spray the sensitizer so it will form a quality emulsion on the paper, with thickness of the emulsion can be controlled.
