You can use glass plates , look at the works of art glass pioneer Littleton works.
He etches , scraps , sand blast the glass and use as the medium. There are works of Chihully also printed with this technology.
They say glass is very resistant to pressure and it flexes as artist needed
Prints goes from 500 to 2500 dollars and there are some awsome fusion space art works from process.
If you can find littleton , you can find his gallery easier.
This art discovered by him at early 70s and his little glass art goes from 30000 and climb fast.
I think i must warn you about hydrofluric acid for melting , etching glass. It is super hyper dangerous and if you are a not very disciplined
person , try sand blasting not acid.
You can stiŻl make gravures with drawing with steel tool also.
