Chris I used plasti-dip http://www.plastidip.com/home_solutions/Plasti_Dip on my Richeson, (and all my other brushes), which is similar to Dip-It I guess. Does the job fine. I have several Richeson Magic Brushes in different sizes and for the price you pay they are SO cheaply made, they flake like mad, they rust, and they are quite frustrating to me as much as they save me money in pt/pd chemistry. I can't tell you how many times they have flaked paint into my brush coat. I know someone on the list recommended dipping the handle in Dip-It from the hardware store to coat the handle (all my handles are now essentially wood, no paint left) so that is my next resort when I find time to go to the hardware store, and I do still recommend them but geesh... Mine also have the name Stephen Quiller on them, aside from Richeson, and I have the 7010 series. I have also used the Royal Langnickel Sno-White series, which has a fake taklon bristle, but no side-by-side studies as to which soaks the most up. Chris __________________ Christina Z.
