i use everclear 190 proof for wet plate ...you are correct that you can't buy the 190 proof in many states, and you can't carry it on a plane
... but these guys will ship it to you...

Paul,

Everclear, being pure grain alcohol, is sold in liquor stores.  I have purchased it in NV and AZ, but not here in CA where I live.  Also, it would be considered a hazardous substance when it comes to shipping due to its flammability.  Due to the hazardous status, the shipping would probably exceed the cost of a fifth.  So if someone is passing through a state which allows its sale, have them pick one up.  It lasts nearly forever.

I haven't had a need for everclear yet (except for when things don't work out and I need medication)...

But where can it be found...and is it shipped across state lines?
