Hi, You may have all your lists set to suit you at the moment, but I guarantee you that some time in the future, it will come to pass that in order to have no advertising or popups et al, you will have to pay. I guarantee it. Google, Yahoo etc exist to make money from their server. They will find you and make you pay. So then you say 'I don't want to pay and I really do need what the list offers so hey, lets have the advertising' . And so it goes...I hate the very idea of the list on any of these search engine thingies. Malin has showed herself to be in it for the long term. I'm for that solution.. Davidh

Must have text only set as I never get images and ads, just some links at the bottom that I never pay much attention to. As far as starting a new topic, all I do is send an email to the group with a new subject line. I rarely if ever go to the site via the internet. I just read and respond to my email messages from the groups I belong to. I do appreciate the search features and that would be one of the rare occasions for me to access via the internet. I have not used Google groups, but if they are the same as Yahoo, I would be willing to go there too. My less that 2 cent opinion. Rene Hales
