[alt-photo] Babbling, etc

Well, as one who can't seem to stay away from 'The  
Bachelorette,' (speaking of "vapid and insipid babbling"), can we  
still have the babbling-- with some salty language thrown in for good  
measure-- or would that not be along the lines of  "group-based  
encouragement for decency" (which, I gotta tell you Bob-- sounds  
scarily like Big Brother stuff to me).  :0

I really enjoyed that little exchange this morning--  And I would just  
like to add that, though I do use both film and digital, I still  
pretty much agree with Greg on all he said about film.  Still, I do  
love making and using those digital negatives.  But back to the  
original original post, can someone explain about the HP software and  
how that would work (in comparison to making one's own curves for  
digital negatives/processes that one might do already)?

Oh-- and just in case-- I'll apologize upfront for the lack of a  
"contribution to the community" here.
