Diana, I don't think it's something very different (and/or
considerably more elaborate) than we already do right now - using
slightly different methods... Just speculating here: My best (and most
optimistic) guess would be that it's a software module designed for the
specific purpose of making enlarged negatives for contact printing,
integrated in their RIP. (= $$$) As I said before, for the moment, to
us, the software itself isn't much important. (And probably will stay so
- See the "$$$" part...) What's more important is the fact that we
finally have their focus (a collaboration with Magnum isn't something to
take lightly BTW), and that makes me hope that maybe they'll finally
start to consider our specific needs when designing future products
(and/or software updates)... And it's good that HP did that first, that
will probably stimulate Epson to catch up(!) ;)
