Francis,
I wouldn't use any alcohol with watery berries -- you will get plenty of liquid without any extra fixings, and you'll want to keep the juice as concentrated as possible. Alcohol may be good if your plants are very dry (some flower petals are) or/and you're trying to extract more color from them.
You don't need a recipe really, just take the amount of juice that you need for 2 - 3 coatings. No need for sizing the (good quality) paper. If you are planning to expose a photograph (not a photogram) use contrasty positive film, with the shadows dense enough to block UV light...
Good luck,
- Jalo

Subject: [alt-photo] questions regarding anthotype
Dear Alt List,
Later this week I will be trying my first Anthotype but first I must acquire
some denatured alcohol and harvest pokeberries in the yard. Would anyone
have a recipe for the amount of colored berries or colored plant matter and
alcohol? Should I allow the emulsion to stain the paper or should I prime it
with something like PVA?
I am also anticipating the lengthy exposure and plan on using an old picture
frame tacked onto a south facing roof for a few weeks during late summer in
Ohio land.
