I agree, a drymount press is the way to go... I don't have access to one, I have been using PVAc glue, and I don't remove the print from the aluminum sheet.

If you have access to a drymount press and Bienfang Fusion 4000
drymount tissue (or something similar that works the same way...)
that's the way to go!
