[alt-photo] Re: Anyone using sodium citrate as DOP pt/pd developer?

I have been using Sod Citrate as my main developer for a few years now.

I used to use the cold formula of Pot Ox but found it grainy, though I
liked the tone. I use Sod Cit at ~30C and find pleasing near-neutral
tones with smoother 'grain'. Contrast difference is slight in my
experience.

Have not notices speed difference but I'm not that scientific about my printing.

Another advantage is I can get it locally, from a veterinary supplier.
I make a saturated solution from about 200 - 250g/litre.

In my notes I have sodium citrate is lower in contrast, colder in tone than potassium citrate but I don't have how potassium citrate compares to ammonium. I will try to search out my sodium citrate test strips somewhere but whatever I did, I didn't feel a need to use it in place of ammonium citrate for any reason.
